In light of the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, we would like to reassure you that the top priority of the Jack Demmer Automotive Group is the health, welfare and a safe environment for our customers and their families, our suppliers and our team members.  

 

We are carefully monitoring the progression of COVID-19 and strictly following recommendations and guidelines from our local, State and Federal agencies.

In an effort to be proactive and responsible in our daily operations and in order for us to be effective in prevention and spread of the virus we are providing the following guidelines to our team members and our suppliers. We urge you to carefully review and share the information with your families, friends and coworkers.  

 

Throughout our facilities we have implemented additional environmental cleaning procedures in addition to the normal daily duties of our cleaning staff to ensure a safe, healthy environment at our dealerships. Below are a few of the key procedures that we have committed to putting into our everyday practices at this critical time as well as moving forward.

  • Disinfecting critical touch points such as door handles, offices, loaner vehicles and showroom vehicles multiple times each day.
  • Hand washing with soap and water as often as necessary-using paper towel to turn off faucets and open doors then discarding paper.
  • The use of hand sanitizer when hand washing is not available. This must be used properly- applied to all areas of the hands, fingers, thumbs and between fingers.  Continue to rub until dry.
  • Practice not touching your face.  Viruses can enter the body through mouth, nose, eyes, and blemishes.
  • When coughing or sneezing, do so into bent arm elbow or tissue. Discard tissue in closed container and wash hands. 
  • Maintaining a "social distance". Virus droplets can easily spread three feet. The same social distancing should apply to handshakes and other physical contact. 

We will continue to stress the importance of everyone to refrain from going into work or visiting our dealerships if you or your family members are experiencing cold symptoms, cough, fever, breathing difficulty, flu symptoms or if you or any family members have been in contact with someone with these symptoms.

 

Our websites are safe alternatives and can provide an effective and convenient option instead of in-person engagement for your vehicle sales, parts or service needs. We have additional team members ready to answer your online questions swiftly and accurately. We are happy to communicate via text, send video vehicle walkarounds and offer electronic or offsite paperwork whenever possible. Let us make your experience safe & effortless.  Our Lincoln location offers complimentary Pick-Up and Delivery services (for both Sales & Service) and we will be happy to accommodate any special request. For the time being, Jack Demmer Ford will also offer complimentary Pick-Up and Delivery for Service only within a 10 mile radius of the dealership.
